Rethink & Reuse publishes free guides on zero waste living, kitchen swaps and creative upcycling ideas for households across the United Kingdom. The site is written and maintained from 42 Bramley Road, London, N14 4HR, and you can reach the team at [email protected] during working hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
There is no account to create and nothing to buy here. Everything on the site is reading material: beginner walkthroughs, comparisons of reusable and plastic free alternatives, and step-by-step upcycling projects you can work through at your own pace. These terms apply to that reading experience and to any message you send us through the contact page.

What our guides can and cannot promise
Guides on this site are informational. They describe general practice and may not fit every household, region or product. We check content when publishing, but rules, products and local services change.
Verify anything safety-related, legal or council-specific before acting on it. That includes what your local authority accepts at the kerbside, what a reusable container is rated for, and how a cleaning mixture behaves on your surfaces.

We read each guide against current UK guidance at the time of writing, and we revisit pages when a product, material or local rule changes. We do not date every edit on the page itself.
Things we cannot know
Your council's collection rules, your water hardness, whether a jar is heat-safe, or how a fabric responds to a dye. Those depend on local details we cannot see from here.
Products move on
Reusable produce bags, beeswax wraps and refill options change size, coating and availability. If a specific item no longer matches the description, tell us and we will correct the page.

A zero waste starter kit that suits one flat may not suit a shared house with limited storage. Treat every guide as a starting point and adapt it to what your home can actually keep up with.

There is nothing to buy on the site and no subscriber tier.
